Uplifting the Community Together
VMRC, is all about people, with the organization providing continued care for over 700 seniors, allowing them to fully live out their lives with joy and security, something that we at Central Valley Habitat understand intimately through our own housing initiatives.
Compassion Meets Community
For over 35 years, Central Valley Habitat has been tirelessly working to address the need for affordable housing in our community. Our Annual Banquet unites the community to celebrate past victories and the families who are now in stable homes, but it's not just a reflection on achievements. We also come together to look ahead to the coming year and the work still to be done.
Golfing for Good: The 2024 Tournament
Sponsorship support was in full swing at the 4th Annual Golf Tournament. We are honored that so many people and organizations showed up again to give back to the community in a relaxed and fun event that we look forward to every year.
Honoring 35 Years at our 2023 Annual Banquet
Earlier this month, we celebrated our 35th anniversary with 411 staff, volunteers, trade partners, donors, and local government officials at Hotel Madison. Our Annual Banquet is not only a fundraising event, it is an annual reunion, where members of the Habitat family come together to express their appreciation.
Bringing Affordable Housing Up to Par: 2023 Golf Tournament
Central Valley Habitat hosts a golf tournament each spring, raising funds to support ongoing operational costs to run the affiliate. The event also serves as an opportunity to celebrate the many General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and other contributors in the finance and construction industries, affectionately known as ‘Trade Partners.’ Our Trade Partners generosity allows Central Valley Habitat to provide low-cost, interest-free mortgages to families in our community.
Rehab Hands for Habitat Makes a Difference in Our Community
Rehab Hands for Habitat is a wonderful example of people coming together in our community to build homes and hope for families. Jim Wampler, with Wampler & Associates Rehabilitation, started this informal group a few years ago to make an impact at Habitat. It is made up of individuals and businesses in the community who want to give back either financially or through volunteerism to help build a Habitat home.
