Riddleberger's Caleb Jerrells Shares Expertise with Community

Behind each project lies a story of compassion, skill, and the willingness to lend a helping hand. We’re reminded of the importance of volunteers like Caleb Jarrels, a refrigeration mechanic at Riddleberger Brothers, Inc., whose dedication to community service has made a tangible difference in the lives of others.

Caleb's journey with Habitat for Humanity began with a simple yet profound desire to utilize his skills for the betterment of his community. "It's good for people who have the skills that I have to help out with the community… because you can give them what they need to live," reflects Caleb. His commitment to service is evident as he describes his involvement in a project to install a mini-split system in an elderly lady's home. The joy he experienced in making a difference in someone's life was palpable.

For Caleb, it has been a journey of personal and professional growth. "There was a benefit for helping out with the community. I learned more about the trade installing HVAC units," he remarks. His experience with Habitat for Humanity not only honed his skills but also opened doors to new opportunities. Through connections made during his volunteer work, Caleb found employment and mentorship that further enriched his career.

We invite you to join us in our mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Whether you're a seasoned tradesperson or simply eager to lend a helping hand, there's a place for you at Habitat for Humanity. Together, we can make a difference—one home, one family, and one volunteer at a time.
