Central Valley HFH Mission
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Central Valley Habitat for Humanity, Inc. brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
From Our Director
” The work is not done until everyone has a ‘decent place to live.’ We have identified many families who qualify through their need and we get calls daily. We hope that you will join us in working toward our powerful, productive, and rewarding goal. After all, CVHfH has a place for everyone to help put God’s love into action in our community. “

Going green has been a popular topic in the United States and all over the world as we recognize the impact that our technology and industry has on the environment. However, green technology can save more than just the planet, it can make owning a home more affordable.
2020-2021 House Sponsors
These businesses and organizations are providing financial and volunteer support for our 2020-2021 builds. Without their help, our mission in the community would not be possible!
DHCD partners with Virginia’s communities to develop their economic potential, regulates Virginia’s building and fire codes, provides training and certification for building officials, and invests more than $100 million each year into housing and community development projects throughout the state – the majority of which are designed to help low- to moderate-income citizens. By partnering with local governments, nonprofit groups, state and federal agencies, and others, DHCD is working to improve the quality of life for Virginians.
As an inclusive community of faith, we commit ourselves to embody the love of God and to share our diverse lives and gifts with each other and the world. Through faith formation, worship, mission, and fellowship we boldly proclaim the peace and love of Christ. Together we work for justice, extend grace, and partner with God to offer abundant life, healing, and hope to our community and the world.
Our vision for ministry at Muhlenberg is to be a Wellspring of God’s Grace: Open + Authentic + Relational + Serving.
We preach and teach God’s grace through Jesus Christ and shape our lives around that promise and message to others. This is good news! If you are curious about what else we believe, Martin Luther’s Small Catechism is a good place to start. Our faith is also strongly reflected in how we preach and worship – you can read more here. The best way to find out what we believe is to come be a part of our community in worship! Feel free to ask one of our pastors, as well.
We are Mennonites, a group of Anabaptists. We are members of the Allegheny Mennonite Conference.
We at Community Mennonite Church are Christians seeking to know and to follow Christ in daily life. Since our beginning in 1972, we have followed a two-fold vision for church life, symbolized by our name, “Community.”
Shalom Mennonite Congregation is a welcoming and inclusive community rooted in Jesus’ radical call to love, justice, and peace. We seek to grow our welcome and inclusion as we deepen our spirituality, build meaningful relationships, work for peace and social justice, and cultivate diverse community connections.
