Our mission to provide low-income individuals and families with partnership in reaching their goal of homeownership in a way that provides them with safe, decent, and affordable housing.  

This year, our theme is, “Hope is a Call to Action.” There are 1,407 low-income families living in unaffordable housing in the City of Harrisonburg. Unaffordable housing can mean many things, including that it could be unsafe, inadequate for their family size, overpriced, overcrowded, under-maintained, and that they’re paying more than 50% of their monthly income just on housing.

Find out below how you can become a Habitat Hero and choose the sponsorship level that is right for you! 

At first glance our sponsorship levels may look overwhelming, but we’re here to guide you through the process!  

We have sponsorship levels available from $500 to $6,000 so that you can choose what is right for your business at this time. Each level comes with corresponding ways that we will advertise what your business has done to support our community. These include places where we feature your logo and give opportunities for your business to be a part of our newsletter that reaches over 3,500 of our local supporters each quarter via mail and email.  

Some sponsorships only have one available spot because they come with extras such as signage and special comments at the event about your business or organization.  


How to Choose Your Level 

Step 1: Decide if you want to claim a sponsorship with only one available spot 

These include the following levels:  

  • Presenting Sponsor $6,000 
  • Food Sponsor $5,000 
  • Auction Sponsor $2,000 

Each of these levels comes with special perks not available to other levels with multiple available. By choosing one of these levels, your business will receive more marketing opportunities to get your logo (and your support of your local community!) out to the public and attendees.  

Of these, the Presenting Sponsor offers the highest placement and priority. By choosing to be the presenting sponsor of this event, your logo and name will be connected to the event and our logo anywhere that we advertise, including social and print media. There is only one of these available and your name will reach thousands of new customers and constituents over the course of the next few months leading up to the event. 


Step 2: Choose from one of our other many levels of sponsorship  

We know that the past year has been difficult for many organizations financially, so when our committee sat down to discuss sponsorship levels this year, we wanted to have something for everyone! 

The below levels can be sponsored by more than one organization:  

  • Raise the Roof $3,000 
  • Progress Builder $2,000 
  • Publicity $1,500 
  • Golden Shovel $1,000 
  • Helping Hand $500 

If your business wants to maximize your advertising with our organization, the Raise the Roof sponsor is the ONLY multi-availability sponsorship that provides a newsletter article! Sponsoring at this level means you have the opportunity to reach over 3,500 new customers or constituents in our local community.  


From there the levels decrease in extras, but each level comes with a guarantee that your logo or name will reach our full audience.  


Step 3: Contact us to reserve your sponsorship and receive an invoice or a link to online payment 

You’ve made the compassionate decision to sponsor our event and provide affordable housing for families in need! Thank you for your support! 

Your next step is to send an email to kirsten@centralvalleyhabitat.org letting our team know what level of sponsorship you’ve chosen, your logo, and social media handles so we can tag you in our posts. We will connect you with our Office and Finance Coordinator to invoice your business by email or mail, an online payment link, or an address for you to send a check.

Not a Business or Organization?

Are you an individual that just wants to support our organization but doesn’t necessarily have a logo or need the sponsorship levels above? No problem!  

We have table host tickets available – these tickets are $250 table reservations that sponsor the little parts of what makes this event successful. By becoming a table host, you receive a table at the event with your name on it and spaces for 8 people ready and willing to donate to Habitat for Humanity and affordable housing.  

You can purchase more than one table at a time. If you can’t fill your table just let us know and we’ll keep track of your empty seats in case we have last-minute supporters or donors that would like to attend!
