Volunteer on a Construction Site

The Habitat construction site is open year-round.

We welcome both skilled and unskilled volunteers on site and we provide all of the necessary tools, though you are free to bring your own if you prefer.

Volunteers help build with Habitat.

Volunteer as an individual

To choose the dates that work best for you, first create a volunteer profile by clicking here to view our open volunteer dates and sign up online. Once you have signed up, you will receive all of the details you need to know about how to have a great volunteer experience with Habitat. Because our staff takes time each day to train our volunteers, we ask that you commit to arriving on time and working with us your entire shift.

Volunteer with a group

If you wish to coordinate a group volunteer day, please contact our Project Manager Brian Breeden (540)405-1424 or Bkbreeden@yahoo.com, as far in advance as possible to secure a date.

Please note that volunteers must be at least 16 years of age  to volunteer on site. Volunteers ages 16-17 must have parental consent. To learn more about volunteer opportunities for youth under 16, click here.
